Meet Edwina...

I’ve been a florist for 13 years, starting as a Saturday girl before going on to college, an apprenticeship and working across lots of different areas of the industry.

Wedding flowers are where I’ve always felt most at home, I love the scale of them, the creative freedom and the fact that no two weddings are ever the same. There’s also something about the pressure of delivering on such an important day that I genuinely enjoy, once the planning is done, everything has to come together properly.

My style is very much big, abundant and flower-heavy. I use lots of large-scale florals and source much of my foliage from London, which gives my work a look and texture that feels noticeably different.

I’m involved in every wedding from the first conversation through to the final set-up... consultations, design, flower ordering, making and installation. For larger weddings, I work with a trusted team who help with conditioning, prep and set-up on the day.

I’m friendly, honest and relaxed to work with. I don’t believe in making the process overly structured or complicated, and I’m always happy to adapt as plans develop.

 

Over the years, I’ve flowered well over 100 weddings across England, Scotland and Wales, won Midlands Florist of the Year, and been a finalist in the Wedding & Honeymoon Awards.
