ITALIAN INSPIRED WEDDING WEEKEND
Katie & Chris’s weekend of wedding celebrations kicked off with a candlelit dinner for their closest guests, the saloon at Davenport House was filled with rich, berry-coloured blooms and tables were studded with grapes, figs and pomegranates; all bringing to life Katie’s Italian vineyard vision for the evening.
The whole weekend was captured incredibly by Phillipa McKenzie (?) and these photos (that deep dip kiss!) are some of our all-time favourites. We used lots of white summer blooms and fresh, green British foliage for the wedding day itself, creating two floral pillars for either side of the bride and groom; gold cubes of hydrangea and roses ran the length of the tables in the dining room.
A recovery brunch followed the wedding the next morning, this time the table was filled with bright coloured blooms in dainty coloured bottles, with groups of oranges, lemons and grapefruits in large vases and jugs; hot pink, yellow and orange candles completed the look.
