Inside This Hawkstone Hall July Wedding

Location: Hawkstone Hall | Photographer: Tobiah Tayo

When Dale Alexander first invited me to design the florals for this beautiful July wedding at Hawkstone Hall, I knew we wanted to create something soft & romantic. The couple, all the way from the USA, envisioned a very English garden-inspired celebration, with blooms that felt timeless, romantic, and abundant.

Working alongside Dale meant we could really dream big. From the start, we knew hydrangeas, peonies, and roses would be at the heart of the design, in a delicate palette of white, pale pink, and soft peach.

The ceremony was all about drama and romance. We used oversized urns overflowing with hydrangeas, peonies, and roses to frame the couple as they said their vows. The scale was important, I wanted it to feel lush and immersive, almost like walking into a secret garden.

The aisle was lined with groupings of flowers that drew the eye towards the couple. There’s something so magical about seeing guests surrounded by soft blooms on all sides, it adds to that dreamlike, romantic feeling.

For the reception, we kept the romantic, garden-inspired feel going with abundant bowl arrangements for each table.

We layered textures with greenery and soft foliage, so the colour palette stayed light and airy, while adding depth and movement to every table. It really helped tie the ceremony and reception together into one cohesive floral story.

Collaborating with Dale Alexander on this wedding was such a joy. His attention to detail and understanding of luxury weddings allowed us to really push the floral design, making every element feel considered and intentional. It’s always a privilege to work with planners who give us the creative freedom to dream big while keeping every logistical detail seamless.

This Hawkstone Hall wedding was the perfect example of how luxury florals can feel both abundant and effortlessly romantic. From oversized urns to cascading staircases and full table arrangements, every element was designed to make the day feel like a flower-filled dream.
